Frequently Asked Questions
Below are some questions that are commonly asked by customers. Please read through them and if you still have questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact us.
Q. Which plug comes with these KitchenAid 220volt products?
A. Shuko Plug (Two Prong) .jpg)
Q. Will these products work in USA or Canada?
A. USA and Canada use 110volts at 60hz. These appliances call for 220volts at 50hz. A transformer is what would be used to convert 110volts to 220volts however, a transformer cannot reduce the cycles from 60hz to 50hz, and so, while the appliance might work, it would not be working as intended and would most likely tear up. Step-up transformers were intended for devices that aren’t cycle-sensitive like computers, dvd players, stereos, and other light-duty items but not kitchen appliances.
Q. Do you offer 110 volt products?
A. No. We only carry 220volt Internation models of KitchenAid products.
Q. Do you ship internationally?
A. Yes we can ship internationally. However, we can only hand-calculate the shipping costs. Also, you must remember that as products are going through customs in its destination country, duties and value-add-taxes may be assessed by the customs office and will need to be payed prior to the package being delivered. FedEx acts as a middle man and will collect these fees and pay them to the customs office. Prior to shipping, we can estimate what the duties and value-added taxes may be.
Q. Can you ship products via United States Parcel Service (USPS)?
A. No. USPS does not offer tracking and delivery confirmations on overseas packages. However, if you could manage it, you could have us ship your package to a U.S. address, and then have the item shipped overseas from there via USPS which would be relatively cheaper than FedEx. Rates can be calculated at http://ircalc.usps.gov/. Shipping weights for products can be found within each product description. Contact us if you are unable to find the shipping weight for a particular product.
Q. Do these products come with a warranty?
A. Yes. International models of KitchenAid's products carry approximately 1 year warranty. The length of warranty varies by country. Israel only carries a 3 month warranty. Extended warranties can purchased at additional cost.
Q. How does the warranty work?
A. All appliances come with a product registration/warranty card in the box. This needs to be filled out and mailed to Belgium (the full address is on the card). The warranty is then in place from the registration date. Issues can be resolved with KitchenAid Europa, Inc. Detailed information is on the card. We are also here to help our customers as much as we can with any issues you my have with your KitchenAid product.
Q. Do you have a storefront where I can pick up any of your products?
